How to schedule an appointment?
You can directly call us at 920-843-9162 to book an appointment. If you are a provider referring - Please see our Provider tab for more information on how to send a referral. If you are patient or referring your loved one- please see our New Patient tab.
Do I need a referral ?
We do not require a referral; however, we recommend having a referral as some
insurance companies may require a referral. We want to ensure that we can meet your needs and we can provide the best care.
How long is initial appointment ?
Your initial appointment will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork prior to your session.
How long is follow-up appointment ?
Psychiatry follow-up appointments typically last 20–25 minutes, though they may be longer depending on the complexity of your needs. We strive to address all of your questions during each visit.
How can I get a message to my provider?
If this is emergency then call 911 or go to nearest ER. For all other calls or questions, you can call the office at 920-843-9162 or message though your secure patient portal. We will respond to all requests through the patient portal or by phone.
Please allow one business day to return the call.
How do I ask for Prescription refill?
Before contacting our office, please check with your pharmacy to see if you have any refills remaining on file.

If no additional refills are available, you may request a refill by:
-Calling our office at 920-843-9162, or
-Sending a refill request through your secure patient portal
-Please allow up to 7 business days for prescription refills to be processed.
How do I make a payment?
You may pay for services using any of the following methods:

Patient Portal – Conveniently make payments online through your secure portal.

By Mail – Send a check along with your statement to RIA Behavioral Health Ltd.

By Phone – Call us at 920-843-9162 to make a payment using a credit or debit card.

For added convenience, you also have the option to keep a credit card on file.

How do I know if you accept my insurance ?
Please contact your insurance carrier to verify whether RIA Behavioral Health Ltd. is an in-network provider. You can find the customer service number on the back of your insurance card.

Our list of accepted insurance plans may change, so we strongly recommend confirming your coverage directly with your insurance provider before scheduling services.

Do you see self-pay patients?
If we are not in-network with your insurance, we can still see you on a self-pay basis.
In this case:
-We will not bill your insurance directly.
-Upon request, we can provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

What is the No Surprises Act?
You are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” outlining the anticipated costs of
your medical care. By law, healthcare providers must furnish patients who do not have
insurance or who elect not to use insurance with an estimate of charges for medical
items and services. For additional information, please click Our Financial agreement.
What are your business hours?
Our Office is open Monday to Thursday 8am-3pm. 7:30 am appointments are available only for our established patients.
Do I need to wait for months to see you when needed?
We always do our best to accommodate established patients as quickly as possible—often with same-day or next-day appointments, when available.

Do you see people of all ages?
Our prescriber is double board-certified, which means she is specially trained to treat children, adolescents, and adults.

We primarily serve patients between the ages of 3 to 21, but we also provide treatment for individuals of any age who are struggling with eating disorders. See our  Services Tab for further details.
Understanding Prescriber Credentials: MD/DO vs. APNP ?

Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
A psychiatrist/ physician is a medical doctor (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) who has completed:
-Medical school
-A four-year residency in psychiatry
-Optional fellowship or specialized training for subspecialties
-The total length of training typically ranges from 7 years (board-certified general psychiatrist) to 10 years or more for those who are fellowship-trained and double board-certified.

Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APNP)
An APNP is a registered nurse who has earned a master’s or doctoral degree and received specialized training in mental health.
They are licensed and certified to:
-Diagnose mental health conditions
-Prescribe medications
-Provide care independently or in collaboration with a psychiatrist (MD/DO)
